Meet Elizabeth Kulabako one of our scholars who secured a fully-funded scholarship opportunity at FLAME University in India to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Journalism. Elizabeth’s passion for journalism started while pursuing her secondary education at Mount of Olives College Kakiri. EDUCATION ABROAD BOOT CAMP 2021
We hosted a three day residential Education Abroad Boot Camp for 38 students. The boot camp focused on equipping the students with knowledge and skills in International College Applications, connecting with International Universities. We also had one on one coaching, team building games and camp fire.
Our guest speakers included Emi Morita from York University, Laura Kaub , Jason Smith from UES Education, Ying Kim from Hong Kong University, Juliet tracy from Gayaza high school, Moya Martin from Kings College Buddo, Ssettuba William from Mengo Senior school, Solomon Kayiwa Mugambe from Ushindi Education Initiative. Student attendees were from Watoto, Rockies Troupe, Fawe Uganda, and Girls to Lead Africa.
